It can sometimes be difficult getting a fair deal for older members when hiring a car. A recent high profile age discrimination case here in Ireland involving a major car hire firm was proof of that.
This policy provides cover for damage to your rental car, theft and extras such as coverage for undercarriage, windows and tyres. You can use this policy at any car hire pick up point in Europe.
The policy holder name must match the name of the person hiring the car. It is valid for twelve months.
Requirements:
• To avail of this policy you must be between 75 and 85 years old
• Your car hire pick up point must be a minimum of 150 kilomtres from where you live
• Rental limited to 31 continuous days on any one hire agreement – you can rent a car as frequently as you wish in the yearly cover period.
